We have specifically set aside Wednesday, June 7, 2017 for our Spring Homeschool Day at Busy Barns Farm. We are open from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for your children to experience our outdoor classroom. We will post our website if we are closed either day due to rain. Updates will be communicated via our Facebook page: Busy Barns Adventure Farm LLC.
Every child will receive…
- Free cone of animal feed to use during the field trip
- Free agriculture education booklet
- Access to our curriculum, 'Bees our Pollinators"
- Lots of great memories and learning opportunities!
PLUS a 30-minuteeducational lesson on 'Bees our Pollinators'. A certified on-farm educator will teach from our farm's 2016 spring curriculum guide, 'Wisconsin Agriculture'. Your children will learn about the diversity of farming in Wisconsin.
The 'Bees our Pllinators' lesson is at 9:30 am and 10:30 pm and the hayrides will be at 10:00 and 11:00. Your free to discover the farm, bring and eat your snack or picnic lunch and visit the pumpkin patch at your leisure (fall). Bottle water will be available for purchase for $1.25.
There is no advance registration required, and you pay as you enter. Homeschool Field Trip Day admission is $7.00 per person, under 1 is free. You can choose to visit the farm another weekday, however the cost would be $10.00 per person, under 1 is free and it would not include the above free items and activities. If you have a group that would like to visit a different weekday, your homeschool group must register and will be subject to the $50 deposit and minimum of $100 group rate to schedule your field trip.
