Busy Barns Adventure Farm field trips offer a hands-on learning environment where children play and learn outdoors. Your students will gain an appreciation for agriculture as they explore the farm and enjoy encounters with our furry and feathered friends. The groups will receive animal feed and each student will receive a pumpkin (fall), along with many great memories!

Bring a picnic lunch along as there is no food available on this day.

Homeschool families: October 2, 2024 is the official homeschool day, although if this date does not work, please register for what day works best for your family. You must register 72 hours in advance to receive the discounted field trip rate for any date your family will attend. Please feel free to call if you have questions.

Upcoming Days

Our Programs

Our field trips are self-guided allowing you to decide where, when, and how long you spend at each of the over-40-farm-activities. The only scheduled component for schools is the hayride which we try to fulfill upon arrival.

Visit the arch barn anytime during your visit for a lesson on an ag-educational topic.

Farm Exploration

Explore our acres of ag-ventures including over 40 activities.

Our education barn offers hands-on learning including our educational hand hole discovery box, simulated milking cow 'Holly the Holstein,' farm scale, bolt table, and rocking farm animals. Sit awhile at our movie theater to enhance your learning experience about agriculture in Wisconsin. We share a new agriculture topic with our guests every year. Visit and feed all our furry and feathered friends in the animal bar. Take a tractor-drawn wagon ride around the farm property. Dependent on weather and field conditions.

Fall Activities

Trivia Corn Maze (15 -20 minutes)

Enjoy our 5-acre maze and test your knowledge on agriculture as you answer questions to find your way out.

Pumpkin Patch
